Kaitlins Senior Pictures

A
week or so ago we photographed Kaitlin’s senior pictures and had a
blast. Kaitlin is so sweet and really has such a sweet spirit about
her. She LOVES playing Oboe and is really good at it; she’s actually
going to college in Colorado to play Oboe! Crazy!!!!

So of
course we had to get some Oboe pictures in plus a ton of others as
well! We got a great variety, which is what I love to do!!!

I
have one last senior session that I am doing today for the class of
2008…. hopefully in the fall we can do a ton more for class of
2009… let’s start planning for it now!

Kailee Jarman’s First 3D Pics

Last week Jamie and I went and got a 3D ultrasound of little Kailee. 3D
ultrasounds are strange in that you can really see your baby, but they
also make her look alienish and weird. So some of these pictures are a
little creepy, but I wanted to share with you all what our new little
one is looking like right now.
BIG NEWS…. well for some of you!

I haven’t posted much about this on my blog… actually the
post I originally posted I took off, but I feel that now is the time to
share the news with everyone again for reals this time!!!!!

I
share so much of my life with you on this blog and give you updates on
my business, pictures, clients, etc, so it’s only time that I shared
with all of you that….

I am having a little GIRL in July!!!

Yup, that is right! I have 3 months left of my pregnancy and everything is going great!!!!

At
first I didn’t want to scare people away by telling you everything on
this blog, but things are going so well and soon enough you will see
pictures of her anyways so I thought I would let you in on a huge
adventure in my life… this way you can all be a part of the
excitement.

First of all her name is Kailee Michelle Jarman and she is a kicker and a mover.

I’m
still working full force and have been all spring, we still have
sessions in May and possibly some in June ( more on that later). I will
be taking of July for the little one’s birth and August as well, but
the studio will still be moving as I have a wonderful Melanie helping
me out now!

So, be tuned for more info on the little one as well
as Maternity pictures… Yes, I am getting them done (not sure what i’m
getting myself into).

And to start with some pictures, on
Wednesday my wonderful photography girlfriends threw me a wedding
industry baby shower. I had some of my most amazing and closest wedding
vendor friends come and it was such a great time!!! Melissa Jill,
one of my very good photography friends took some pictures for me and
blogged on the event, so I thought I would share them as well!

Paula and Pete

Paula and Pete were married a few weeks ago and it was a beautiful small wedding at the Hermosa Inn. Just a few family and friends joined them, but it was such a beautiful event and a gorgeous day.
We got some great pictures and I had a wonderful time. Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your day.

This little guy was so funny… he kept posing everytime he saw the camera!

Before the ceremony everyone gathered around and chatted for a little bit.

This guy is a wonderful guitarist and it is the 2nd time i’ve worked with him now at the Hermosa Inn.

Even though it was a short day for me wedding wise, we only were there for 2 hours, we had to take advantage of the gorgeous grounds. We got some great portraits.

There is a really cool Wine Cellar on property and we got some cool shots.

We only stayed for some of the cocktail hour, but had to get some details of the reception area.

Didn’t I say I LOVE Seniors?

As I keep saying, i’m really enjoying photographing seniors! I get a chance to be really creative, find new fun spots to take pictures, and have a lot of fun with some of the coolest people around!
This shoot was no different… Meet Laura! At first she was a little nervous about the shoot and didn’t know what to do… WHATEVER!!!! She did phenomenal and we got some great pictures! We really showed a lot of her personality… especially the smiling goofy ones – they scream Laura!
Laura had a friend come with her to help relax her, it worked a little:) Most of the time Laura was telling Alli to turn around and not watch, but Alli and I both knew that we got the best pictures when Laura started laughing so Alli would turn around every once in awhile and make faces! It was great!!! We even took a “friend” picture of the two of them! Oh Memories!!!
Well enjoy… I had a lot of favorites, so I posted a lot!!
Max Itkowitz

Do you remember this cute cute little guy? When Max was 2 weeks old I was able to photograph his first session. The best thing about my job is it doesn’t stop at one session…. Max is now 7 months old and I went back and was able to see how much he has changed! It’s amazing. He is so adorable and I can’t wait to see him once again once he starts walking.

We started the session with Bath time and then headed out to the park to get some more pictures. We then ended the session with a much needed nap for this little man!! Love em!!
Shelley’s Maternity Session

So, I know I have been MIA lately… i’ve been shooting a lot and also struggling with a yucky cold, so today i’m sitting on my couch and working on pictures.

Awhile back I posted a maternity picture for Shelley and John, but I hadn’t finished the session. Well I just finished and wanted to post a few more… Warning there is one picture that shows a lot of skin, so be warned.

Vince’s Senior Pictures

I don’t get many HS Senior Guys very often which makes me sad because guys are so much fun to photograph! So I was totally excited when Vince called me up to do his session. We had a blast.
I always try to meet with my senior and his/her mom before the session to get to know everyone and come up with fun and creative ideas for the session. Vince plays Clarinet and is REALLY good at it. It’s his life and passion, so his mom said she wanted a lot of pictures with him and his Clarinet. We had a great time coming up with ideas and we nailed it!!!
Vince did so good and I love these pictures! I need to shoot more guys, so tell all the guys that they need senior pictures!!!!

Kims Senior Session

I know I haven’t blogged in awhile, it’s just been a few crazy weeks!!!

However, I have another great senior session!!!A few weeks ago we did Kims Senior session and had a great time! They turned out great!!!

Another Great Bride Recommendation

A couple of years ago I photographed Gary and Kims wedding over at the WigWam Resort. It was an awesome event and my husband and I got to know Gary and Kim pretty well! I love that about my job! Well today i got a surprise email off of LinkedIn, a business resource and Kim posted a recommendation about me. I love hearing things like this because it makes me soooo happy! So I thought i would share it with you all too!
