I’m so excited to announce the first ever Kimberly Jarman and Jennifer Bowen Beginners Photography Workshop.

We

This
is going to be a great workshop for beginners who want to take their
photography to the next level. We are going to go over a ton of
information and also have a great Q&A time.

    Ok, I know i’m a photographer and should know all of the best
cameras out there… and when it comes to SLR’s I can tell you what to
buy and what not to buy… however when it comes to Point and Shoots I
have no clue…. they keep changing on me.

I need to buy a new point and shoot camera that takes amazing pictures
and I wanted to get everyone’s advice on what they think is the best!!!
So please leave comments on which point and shoots you would tell
someone to buy!

Also, video cameras… if you know of a good video camera I need one of those as well!!!

I don’t enter many contests, mostly because I always miss the deadlines
for them:):) But I was so excited today when I found out that I placed
5th in a really cool photography contest. This is a contest that is
voted on by other photographers so it makes it even more exciting that
I won!

We are really busy over here working on a ton of stuff….but coming
soon to the blog will be more information about the workshop I am
offering, pictures of the Graves family, Nicole and Steven’s Wedding,
and pictures of the Wright Family!! We’ve been busy!!!!

I’m so excited to announce that Jennifer Bowen
and I will be holding a 3 hour workshop for those who are just starting
out in photography. This is great for parents and amateur photographers
who are wanting to take better pictures.

I get a lot of
questions from parents and people who are wanting to learn the basics
of photography and how to take good pictures. Jen and I decided that we
would love to help out in that area!

The workshop will be
Saturday, June 28, 2008 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at my studio in downtown
Mesa. We will be posting more details soon so be sure to check back
next week for more information and how to register. Feel free to email me or leave a comment if you are interested!!

This
is the first American Idol season that I have watched and I was a loyal
Tivo viewer… I have to admit that towards the end I even voted on my
ATT wireless phone:).

My husband and I are huge David Cook
fans… I do think that Archeletta has an amazing voice, but David Cook
is a better performer!

Last night my husband and I had a baby
class and didn’t get home until 10:00 PM so we started watching the
show then… we got to the end and laughed jokingly that the Tivo would
cut out on us at the end…… yea, well right when they said “and the
winner is” ( no joke)… the tivo stopped. Are you kidding me???
Luckily thanks to technology we were able to hop on the internet, pull
up You Tube and watch the ending. It was good and I was so happy and
excited.

Both Davids are great and are going to have wonderful careers, but I have to say a big Congrats to Cook!!!!

What a week!!! This has been one of those weeks where I look back and say woah… where did the week go!!!

We have been so crazy busy working on different projects and a lot of album designs!

I have a fun thing in the works that I can’t wait to share with you
all, but until then I wanted to show you all Meredith and Ernie’s
album. We just finished the first preview design and I LOVE it!!!

I have a friend from High School who was pretty much like my brother. I’ve been trying to find a way to find him because he’s in the military and haven’t had any luck. Well today I found some pictures and a video about him… he makes me proud!!!

I still don’t have his contact info and hope that I can get it, but I wanted to share this with you. It’s amazing the things these guys are doing for people and it makes me so honored to know Shaun and see who he has become!

I have to give a big shout out and congratulations to one of my
wonderful couple friends who just had their baby girl this weekend…
Mothers Day to be exact!!!! Congratulations Heidi and Jake, she is gorgeous!!!

Heidi has been ahead of me in this whole pregnancy thing about 10 weeks
so its been fun to see how things have progressed for her!

Also, I did not take this picture or make this card… I stole it off her blog to show off!!
